My first independent e-bay purchase... got frazzled a bit at the last moment and spent 4 dollars more than I'd planned. But when you wait for the last 50 seconds, the adrenaline really kicks in.
Anyhow, Serendipity books rock, written by a couple of hippies... My first graders always end up loving the Serendipity series, since I rave about them so much.

The book purchase is great! And your kids will enjoy them for sure! Dad thinks Shelley and I should go into the e-bay business together in the new year and we are actually talking about doing it!
I LOVED the Serendipity books when I was little - Flutterby was my favorite and I see it's in your pic of acquisition - fantastic!
I can still remember my mom purchasing Serendipity books at Cadillac News (?) when I was little. My good friend left the one my mom bought her at my house... now it is a part of my classroom collection. BTW congrats on your first independent purchase. I made a few last minute gift purchases myself this week! Still waiting on the yellow bowling shirt... (not for me) ;)
