Neat photo! I love the sunflower - is it from your yard?!! :) And the grasshopper (?) is cute but I'm not seeing more than one! ?? Going back to work does involve lots of time in the classroom! But also the fun of visiting with those we you haven't seen all summer!
It is indeed from our yard (note the paint coming off our fence), and if you click the photo to make it larger you will see a small beetle-ish bug to the right of the grasshopper!
p.s. the sad thing is that the people I visit with at school AREN'T the ones I haven't seen-- I visit with the people I visited with over summer! :)
Still fun! I always loved the days at school before the kids started!
And it isn't always as productive as one hopes as it is just nice to visit! :)

What a lovely sunflower! And I love your bugs - I would totally spend time procrastinating that way! Actually, I spent a good deal of a staff meeting on friday looking at caterpillars that look like a piece of cotton that make you break out in blisters if you touch them :)
